Born in Athens, Chryssi studied the flute with Stella Gadedi at the Athenaeum Conservatory, where she achieved her professional diploma with excellent unanimously, first prize and Athenaeum gold metal, while she also obtained with distinction the highest diplomas in flute performing by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She also holds degrees in Superieur Theoretical Studies. As a scholar of the "Friends of Music Society" (scholarship “Alexandra Triandi”) and the Foundation "Alexandros S. Onassis", Chryssi studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Peter Lloyd and Anders Ljungar-Chapellon, at the Ėcole Normale de Musique de Paris with Pierre-Yves Artaud and Devy Erlih and at the Conservatoire National de Region of Strasbourg with Mario Caroli, obtaining numerous postgraduate degrees, among them a Master of Music in Performance, a Diploma in Professional Performance (PPRNCM), a Master of Philosophy in Performance, a diplome Superieur de Concertiste de flute and a diplome de Specialisation into contemporary flute, both unanimously and with the congratulations of the jury. Chryssi has performed with Stella Gadedi (double Concerto with Patras Orchestra in 2002, recital "Daydreaming", Athens Megaron 2004), she performed at the workshops of Greek composers directed by Theodore Antoniou, she collaborated with orchestras in Greece and Europe and she participated in various international contemporary music academies and festivals. In 2007 she was awarded the third prize of the international competition in modern interpretation "Valentino Bucchi" in Rome. Chryssi participated as a soloist into the performance and recording of the opera by Salvatore Sciarrino "Study per l intonazione del mare" under Marco Angius (Rome, 2008) and performed in the presentation of music by Adriano Guarnieri (Genova, 2009). She presented a solo recital within the frame of the interantional contemporary music festival "Musica" 2009 of Strasbourg and is also integrated into the program of soloist/chamber contemporary music, run by the ensembles Ictus and Spectra, in collaboration with the Gent University.
